Years ago, when the Insurance Company she diligently worked for relocated to the West Coast, Carol decided to branch out on her own by starting her own Agency; KEL Insurance. While she obviously set out to increase her household income, she secretly hoped that one day one of her children would step in to take over her agency. She decided to use the initials K,E,L, named after her three children. After 20 years of establishing her name in the Nightlife & Hospitality Industry, her dream came true when her son, Lars, decided to join the Agency. Together they continue to grow the business that she started.

Post college graduation Lars was working hard for a financial firm in New York City and on weekends would DJ at Nightclubs and Bars until the wee hours of the morning. His passion for Nightlife finally turned toward wanting to continue to service the industry in a different way. He chose to join the family business so that he could service the venues he worked at and frequented. Today, side by side, Carol and Lars continue to service specialized, unique, growing industries.
